This the first cosmetic product I have ever bought that makes an immediate, noticeable difference. A baby boomer, I have developed distressing vertical lines and most things I have tried on my lips make them peel, but not this product. The first time I applied it, there was an uncomfortable tingle but it was easy to get used to once I saw the results. It left my lips very smooth, with well-defined edges and even seemed to give better color without lipstick. If you want the big floppy fishlips that seem popular in Hollywood now, you may not be satisfied with this, but I love it!

Several people seem to be dissapointed, but I think the product works great! It's as simple and painless as exfoliating (I used a dry toothbrush), slathering it on, and going to sleep. I had my doubts about this product because I have naturally thin lips and other products I've bought haven't seemed to do much besides sting my lips, so I took a picture the night before and then one the morning after. I may not have ended up with Angelina Jolie lips, but I'm very happy with the results. When I first looked at them I thought they looked fuller, but then I thought maybe that's just because I wanted them to. But when I looked at the pictures I could see a difference! I'd recommend at least giving it a try, and take some pictures so you can see the difference. I loaded mine up in the gallery so you can judge for yourself.

I have bought this product twice. I have tried other lip plumpers, restylane injections, plumping lipsticks and glosses. This one works the best for me. I use it at night, and once during the day. Be careful not to drink or eat right afterward, or it will just come off. I also use the lip treatment by Clarins from time to time. The restylane injections gave me huge bruises and results that were hardly visible and lasted less than a month. Not to mention price! All things considered, $50 for this product and then $38 for a sheer gloss plumping color is a real bargain. I like everything by the Fusion Beauty company.

I'm using the product right now and it works amazingly. My lips are fuller and have amazing color! The tingling sensation does take some getting used to, but the results are well worth it.

I have tried every "lip plumper" on the market and Lip Fusion is by far the best. The rest irritated/dried my lips and I felt a burning or stinging sensation with no visible results. Lip Fusion not only plumps with no irritating side effects, it leaves my lips completely hydrated, looking and feeling wonderful.
I have read the other mixed reviews on this product and I am surprised. This is one of my "must have" beauty items. I have been using the XL religiously now for the last 18 months and have used all the other colors as well. Lip Fusion may not work for everyone, but I love it.
I should add that I naturally have full lips. The "plumping" effect for me is slight, but still there. I do not expect an increase in size comparable to injections with any over-the-counter lip plumper, so my expectations are realistic. If you are expecting Angelina Jolie lips with any store purchase, you will be disappointed. Also, I have sensitive skin and Lip Fusion is the only brand that doesn't exacerbate my skin sensitivities. It works by using dehydrated water molecules that pass through the outer lip membrane and then rehydrate when they come in contact with the inner lip fluids....that's what causes the plumping effect. Lip Fusion moisturizes by adding water molecules to the inside as well as moisturizers on the outside. Other brands irritate the lips with their ingredients, much like hot spices or peppers cause temporary swelling with skin contact. If that works for you, great, but I prefer to hydrate instead of irritate.
As far as the cost, I wish it were cheaper, but I will continue buying this product because it works for me and I can afford it. I don't agree with Reviewers downgrading the product because they think it is too expensive. It skews the reviews when you judge on price. Everyone has the option to either pay $50 or not. The retail price is a set point. When I read reviews, I want to know how the product performed, not a Reviewer's financial situation.
